- Looks fresh from the pack. Up close there may be a tiny speck on an edge; no scratches, creases or bends.
- Lightly Played (LP)Light wear
- Light wear on edges or corners, and small surface marks you only see in the light. No creases or bends.
- Moderately Played (MP)Visible wear
- Clear wear from play: whitened edges, surface scratches. No major damage that spoils how the card looks.
- Heavily Played (HP)Heavy wear
- Heavy wear, possibly creases or a clear bend. We don't sell HP cards right now; it's here so you can see where the scale ends.
What we look at
- CornersRounding, whitening or dents.
- EdgesWhite specks and wear along the edges.
- SurfaceScratches, marks, scuffs on the holo.
- Creases and bendsWhether the card lies flat, any crease lines.
On graded cards (for example PSA 10) the condition is the grading company's grade; the card is sold in its slab with its certificate number.
